“ Had to show up one last time before this place closed down for good and it did not disappoint. Our server was great offering us lots of food and beverage options. We decided to sit outside as it was cooler weather out on the patio and a great outdoor feeling. We ordered bottomless mimosas as well as a strawberry drink. Check out the pictures below for all of the yummy bites. ”
“ I recently came to this restaurant for a birthday dinner. I got the yellow fish roll. The roll was good but honestly nothing special. It was not even a specialty roll, but cost $20. I got the goat cheese croquettes which were good but missing more of the guava. It was a good dish to share though. The atmosphere was nice, the decor was very moody, but the lighting was pretty bright. Some of the songs seemed to have been on repeat as well. I'm not complaining though because it was music from bad bunny's new album! ”
“ Came recently for dollar oysters and they were pretty good. They actually had some flavor and not the dollar ones that taste like nothing. We were able to pair this with the happy hour special and got pretty full off of 36 oysters! Could have ate more but we decided to not. Service was quick and easy and the weather was perfect for sitting out on the patio. ”
“ Goat cheese croquettes very good a must have! The salmon roll was okay not my favorite was a bit fishy. Short ribs REALLLLYYY GOOD the sauce was amazing the server Erika was great as well, I came in super fast after the gym and got a quick dinner bite ”
“ Always reliable, consistently good food, a variety of choices on the menu...Sugarcane is like a good friend. Whether you go there for dinner, lunch or happy hour, there always something for you. The market bowl is my go-to dish for its generous portions of fresh produce and deliciously prepared chicken. When not having that, a favorite of mine is the chicken thigh with asian-infused flavors and served with bib lettuce to make wraps. For those of you watching your macros, this is a great solution. Whether you drop in for a glass of wine, lunch with a friend or dinner with a crowd, Sugarcane does not disappoint. On a recent visit, I did notice that the dining room felt not just dated, but disjointed. There is an odd style to the columns in the dining room that could maybe use some up lighting. Its decor, like the sushi rolls, although decent, could use an update. But, don't sleep on it, it's a great reliable choice. ”
“ Sugarcane is a great restaurant especially for special occasions. Right in the heart of Miami sugarcane is surround by many other restaurants and stores that you can stroll around after. Their menu is very limited but well known for their sushi small plates and cocktails. Coming here I went very basic and got a cheeseburger. I enjoyed my burger but it was just an average burger. The prices are definitely Miami prices. I would definitely go back if it was for a special occasion but for a regular dinner no. The service was average as well, but I loved the atmosphere. The inside and outside was gorgeous they had beautiful lights and decor all throughout. ”
“ I've been to Sugarcane several times and always have a nice experience. They offer a pretty good happy hour from 5-7 Monday-Friday. Plenty of cocktail options for $8 as well as beer and wine. They also have some good bites for $8! I've tried 2 rolls which were both yummy as well as the Brussel sprouts. My boyfriend and I both agreed they were some of the best Brussel sprouts we've had at a restaurant in a while. From the main menu, we tried the branzino which was very large! There were 2 small pieces so it made it easy to share as we weren't starving. This past time we visited, service was just okay. The waitress didn't seem pleased to be there, although she did her job so we can't really complain. We sat inside this time, but I prefer the outdoor terrace which is really cute. ”
“ Sugarcane in Midtown Miami is a lowkey gem with the cutest vibes. The restaurant has a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot for unwinding with friends or a casual date night. The food here is absolutely delightful. The bacon-wrapped dates were a standout, perfectly sweet and savory. One of the highlights was the duck rice. It wasn't on the menu, but our server recommended it, and it was worth every bite. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, it was a hidden gem that I'd highly recommend asking about. The decor adds to the charm, with a cozy, chic design. The service was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a cool spot with great food and a laid-back vibe, Sugarcane in Midtown Miami is definitely worth checking out! ”
“ I live down the street in midtown and often stop in for their happy hour which is from 4-7. They have a nice outdoor terrace with a bar, that almost makes you feel like you're on vacation! Drinks are $8 and they have a pretty good variety and get them to you quick. They also have some bites for $8- my personal fav is the spicy tuna roll. As for their dinner menu, I probably just haven't tried the right dishes because I haven't been blown away. I've tried the duck fried rice (amongst a couple others) which appears to not be on the menu anymore, so they must have listened to customer feedback! I'll have to come back and try more dishes! Overall, a solid spot in the Midtown neighborhood! ”
